World Book Day at Nursery

On Thursday 6th March, the children and staff came to nursery dressed as their favourite book characters to celebrate World Book Day.

It was wonderful to see so many creative costumes and to share our love of books together.

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed lots of fun activities based on some of our favourite stories, including The Gruffalo, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, and The Runaway Pea. The activities helped bring these stories to life and encouraged the children to explore their imaginations.

During the week, we also invited parents and grandparents of the children in Lower Pre-School to come into nursery and read some of their favourite books with the children. It was so lovely to see the children listening so carefully while their family members shared stories with them and their friends.
