Terms & Conditions

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully.
 
Registration
​
• Parents must submit a completed registration form detailing their preferred sessions.

• The nursery will confirm availability and allocate places accordingly.

• To secure a place, parents must pay:

1. A £100 non-refundable registration fee

2. A £200 deposit, refundable upon leaving, provided the required notice is given.

• If a parent declines a place offered after payment, the registration fee remains non-refundable. Parents must provide at least three months’ written notice if they no longer wish to take up the placement or if any changes are required. If the required notice is not given, parents may be liable for up to three months’ service fees.
 
Payment of fees

• Fees are payable monthly in advance and must be settled by the 6th of each month.

• Payment methods: Standing Order, Direct Transfer, Direct Debit, or Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

Late Payments:

1. Fees outstanding for more than 10 days after the 6th will result in a 7-day termination notice.

2. A £25 administration charge will be applied every 7 days until the balance is cleared.

• Fees remain payable during periods when a child is absent from the nursery, including due to sickness, family holidays, or public holidays. Fees will also continue to be charged on occasions when the nursery is closed for essential staff training or INSET (In-Service Education and Training) days, which are necessary to maintain high standards of care and education. In rare instances where the nursery must close due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather, utility failures, or public health guidance), fees will also remain payable to ensure the ongoing operation and sustainability of the nursery.

• We will provide 28 days’ notice for any fee increases.
 
Childcare Support

• We accept government Childcare Support for eligible 9-23 month,2,3, and 4 year olds, subject to availability.

• Funding covers 15 hours per week for 38 weeks (or 30 hours if additional funding is available).

• Parents must complete a Parent Declaration Form each term to confirm session allocation.

• Free sessions are not charged, but reasonable fees apply for meals and additional activities. Parents may provide a cold packed lunch instead.
 
Holidays and absences

• The nursery operates 51 weeks per year and is closed one week between Christmas and New Year.

• Sessions on nursery closure days are not charged.

• Parents must give at least one month’s written notice for any session changes. Swapping days is not permitted.
 
Termination of agreement

• Either party may terminate this agreement with one calendar month’s written notice.

• If the required notice is not given, parents remain liable for one month’s fees, and the deposit will not be refunded.

• Exceptional circumstances (e.g, relocation, emergencies) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
 
Care of children

• Children may occasionally be taken on supervised outings. Written consent is required for specific trips.

• In the event of an accident or medical emergency:

1. The Nursery may seek emergency medical treatment, including hospitalization or administering anaesthetics, if parents cannot be replaced.

2. Parents are responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

• Parents must inform the nursery in writing if their child should be excluded from certain activities.
 
Attendance & Late Collection

• Parents must inform the nursery by 9:30am if their child will be absent.

• Any change to arrival or collection times must be communicated in advance.

Late Collection Fees:

1. Parents arriving after session time will be liable for a charge of £5 for every 10 minutes late.

2. This fee is payable directly to the two staff members staying with the child.

• Parents must notify the nursery if their child has been exposed to any infectious disease.
 
Illness Policy
1. Children should not attend nursery if unwell.

2. If a child becomes ill during the day, parents/guardians will be contacted and asked to collect them promptly.

• Nursery staff are not allowed to release the children to anyone other than those listed on their personal forms or on the Blossom App. Should it be necessary for someone different to collect the child due to an emergency the nursery should be informed as soon as possible.
 
General information

• Parents must inform the nursery of any changes to their child’s details immediately.

• The Nursery operates a strict no-smoking policy.

• Parking Disclaimer: The Nursery is not liable for damage, injury, or loss related to vehicles, visitors, or possessions in the parking area.

• Data Protection (GDPR Compliance): We securely store child records, including photographs, as per GDPR regulations. Parents who do not consent to date storage must inform the nursery in writing.

• Parents should label all personal belongings. This Nursery is not responsible for lost items.

• We hold Employers’ Liability and Public Liability Insurance.

• A minimum attendance of 3 full days (08:00-18:00) or 3 school days (08:00-16:00) including a Monday or Friday is required.
