Special Events
Special events at nursery bring children, families and educators together, creating memories that last far beyond the classroom
Throughout the year, Rafles hosts a variety of special events for the children, and sometimes parents are invited to join the fun too. These celebrations create memorable experiences, strengthen our community, and bring everyone together in a joyful and meaningful way.
Graduation
When children are ready for their new adventure, we host an evening for those leaving for school and their parents. The children are presented with a certificate celebrating the completion of their time at Rafles. It’s always an emotional evening for parents, but such a lovely one.

Hatching Program
We run a hatching programme around Easter, giving the children the chance to see the whole life cycle firsthand. Over the years, we’ve had chicks, quails, and ducklings. The children get to watch them hatch and even hold them. It’s always so lovely to see how excited the children become.

Sports Day
We host Sports Day each year, where parents are invited to watch their little ones race and may even get the chance to join in themselves.

Grandparents Day
We love inviting grandparents into the nursery to read with their grandchildren and enjoy a special stay-and-play session together. Grandparents play such an important role in children’s lives, and we are delighted to welcome them in to share these meaningful moments with us.
Holi Festival
“We celebrate the Holi Festival with an explosion of colour and fun. The children head outdoors to throw vibrant powder paint, get wonderfully messy, and enjoy the excitement of this joyful celebration. It’s an experience they always remember, creating happy moments and lasting memories.

Father's Day
For Father’s Day, we invite dads into the nursery to spend time with their little ones, see them enjoying play with their friends, and share a special moment together while connecting with other fathers.

Mother's Day
We love welcoming mums into the nursery to see their little ones happily playing with their friends, while also having the chance to meet and connect with other mums. These special moments help strengthen our community and create lasting relationships for both children and parents.

Rafles Birthday
Rafles celebrates its birthday with the children every year on the 1st of March, a tradition we have proudly continued since opening in 2007. To mark the occasion, we invite a special entertainer to provide a fun and memorable experience for the children, making the day one filled with laughter, excitement, and celebration.
