The team at Rafles Nursery and Pre school is led by Early Years Professionals, the early years practitioners are trained Nursery Nurses, holding NNEB certificates, NVQ’s or equivalents and experienced Nursery Assistants. We also offer practical training experience to students from local schools and colleges. Staffing ratios exceed the legislative requirements when possible and a huge emphasis is placed on the continual professional development of the staff.
The majority of the team members have more than 8 years child care experience and have been part of the Rafles Nursery & Pre-school team for more than 5 years. Most of the team are also parents themselves.

Shani Inpan
(DIRECTOR) – LLB, LLM (Cantab), PCLL, EYPS.
With a background in Law, Shani bought this nursery in 2001 when she was out looking for childcare for her child. She fell in love with the location of this nursery and was very keen to run a setting that provided children with an abundance of outside space.
Karen Fitzgerald
(MANAGER) – LEVEL 3 in Leadership and Management, Diploma in Nursery Nursing, Â qualified SENCO.
18 years experience in childcare and education. Karen has been the manager at the nursery for the last 3 years. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the education and care of children combined with her commitment to the advancement of her staff team make her the ideal figurehead of Rafles Nursery and Pre-school.
